| Our Vision |
 |
As a church we want to see the Kingdom of God advancing in Medway. We believe that the church has a central place to play in this. We recognise what God has done and is already doing in M.F.C. but our hope is to become more and more the kind of church that is outlined below.
Within Medway, we have a vision of:

A church that is advancing God’s kingdom in the city, declaring and demonstrating the good news of God’s grace and bringing heaven to earth, its presence is making a big difference and actually transforming the society into something better.
A church that is empowered and led by the Holy Spirit. It sees and experiences God at work in it and through it in a powerful way. With many signs wonders and miracles accompanying the gospel.
A church of ‘hundreds & hundreds’ that sees constant growth in numbers without compromising quality as many experience the grace of God and are added to the church.
A church full of people who are passionate, committed and single minded when it comes to following Christ and living in grace for him. It is truly different from the world around it, enough to make the city around it sit up and take notice.
A church that effectively demonstrates that the gospel is ‘good news to the poor’ in a variety of life changing ways, it lovingly serves and does good work in the community in order to remove injustice and poverty and support those who are weak.
A church that is actually demonstrating to the world what the creator is like in an effective way - a loving, powerful, satisfying, awesome God who is involved personally with his creation and the people in it.
A church that both experiences and demonstrates that it is an attractive heavenly community of God, a family atmosphere is present; it is multicoloured and embraces all cultures, young or old, married or single, rich or poor.
A church that is loving, honouring and united as it moves forwards in its purpose. Without any factions and undermining behaviour that detract from this.
A church that involves everyone in fulfilling its purpose, helping each person to find their place and equipping them to fulfil their call and destiny in life.
A church that equips and sends out many people to impact other towns cities and nations with the gospel. Especially through helping establish new churches.
